| The DACA MicroInjector is a small, pneumatically driven piston injection molding instrument designed to produce tensile test bars, or other small parts, using max. 5 ml of polymer material. The instrument consists of a heated block to support the conical, self clamping, water chilled mold and a heated barrel, which can be easily removed for filling. Both are separately temperature controlled. A separate pneumatic cylinder is used to manually eject the mold at the completion of the cycle. At UBT four different molds are available, additionally we added nitrogen flushing of the barrel.
