Zetasizer ​
​The Zetasizer Advance Series Ultra Red from Malvern Pananalytical provides the ability to measure particle size, particle concentration and zeta potential of particles or molecules in a liquid medium over a wide concentration range. Particles or molecules with a diameter from 0.3 nm up to 10 µm can be measured. This device is equipped with multiple detectors to analyze the side scattered (90°), back scattered (173°) and forward scattered (13°) laser light (HeNe laser, 632.8 nm, power: 10 mW). By the use of the fully automated multi angle dynamic light scattering mode the correlation function is measured in three scattering directions. This data is then combined to create a higher resolution particle size distribution measurement than possible with a single angle measurement. For this purpose, separate square glass cuvettes with round apertures are used.
